APPROVED: Police stations around the country will now have private security guards to protect police officers

After a sergeant at the Lingelethu West police station was shot in the face a few days ago by attackers‚ who entered the police station under the pretext of reporting a robbery.

Minister Fikile Mbalula brainstormed the idea of hiring security guards to protect police officers.

As unreal as it may seem you will see a few security guards in your local police station from November 2017. According to the minister this is one way to create jobs and making our police officers feel safe in the same time.

“Tender details will be available soon and only BEE companies are advised to apply” -Fikile Mbalula.

The opposition is not impressed by the move, EFF and DA made it clear that they are against the idea. Julius Malema called it ANC stupidity and stupid Gupta ideas.
