Cartoon Network is suing a South African hip hop artist for using their logo.
Cartoon Network the American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by Time Warner had filed a law suit against Cassper Nyovest for unlawfully using their logo to promote his brand unlawfully.
The network said it had been aware of the unlawful usage of its logo for over 3 years and they had tried to communicate with the rapper on several occasions with no avail. “The musician did not respond to any of our formal letters we even tried to communicate with him via social networks still he did not respond”
“We do not want the children to associate our channel with his music, and him using our logo also means he is poaching our fans and we cannot tolerate that”.

Cassper Nyovest said he don’t remember Cartoon Network contacting him however he said he missed a few calls this week with numbers appearing to have Atlanta, Georgia, USA area code.
